Job Summary

Patient Care Responsibilities

• Identifies patient-care outcomes and provides timely care.
• Adheres to therapeutic standards, measures health outcomes against patient-care goals, and recommends adjustments when necessary.
• Performs basic assessments to identify signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, and general appearance.
• Delivers safe patient care to a specific population using the nursing process.
• Administers medications and therapeutic agents required for treatment, disease prevention, or rehabilitation.
• Performs skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and peripheral venous access initiation.
• Observes illness signs, treatment reactions, general behavior, and physical condition.
• Plans care based on assessment, implements reporting and referrals, and initiates emergency procedures when indicated.
• Provides care for special populations and patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Adjusts care for cultural, spiritual, age, psychosocial, communication, gender, sexual-orientation, economic, educational, family, and condition-related needs.
• Assesses patient safety concerns, provides interventions, and evaluates their effectiveness.
• Documents care in the electronic medical record and collaborates with healthcare teams.

Experience and Education

• Minimum 3 years of work experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of GCC experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
