The Opportunity
Clinical Data Analyst Contractor role using a large electronic health record database to solve healthcare analysis problems and support improvements in patient care.
The contract is 3 months and full-time, with a target start date of October 5, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Scope analysis requests and produce studies and results using SQL, R, and Python within agreed deadlines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on analyses and produce peer-reviewed publications.
- Provide technical analytics support.
- Write regex queries using Databricks SQL to extract clinical concepts from clinical notes for customers.
- Create enablement materials to help onboard researchers to evolving platform capabilities.
- Investigate data sources with other teams to demonstrate data veracity to customers.
Required Skills
- Undergraduate- or graduate-level education in clinical research, data analysis, clinical informatics, or a related field.
- Experience working with large databases containing data for millions of patients.
- At least 3 years of experience analyzing Electronic Health Record or other Real World Data using SQL, R, and Python.
- Willingness to learn new coding languages, including an internal proprietary coding language.
- At least 2 years of customer-facing experience delivering high-quality research analyses.
