Role Overview
The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and operational performance of Al Raha Medical Center.
The role coordinates management, medical professionals, administrative staff, patients, suppliers, and external authorities.
The position is full-time and based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, reporting to management.
Clinic Operations and Staff Management
- Oversee daily clinic operations, workflow, staffing coverage, doctor schedules, rosters, appointments, patient flow, and corrective actions.
- Supervise medical, nursing, reception, customer service, administrative, and support staff.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, KPI monitoring, and resolution of staff issues.
Patient Experience and Compliance
- Ensure high standards of patient service, satisfaction, communication, confidentiality, complaint resolution, and appointment management.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Health Abu Dhabi requirements and applicable UAE healthcare regulations.
- Maintain licenses, registrations, certificates, policies, and compliance documents and coordinate inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Implement infection control, occupational health, health and safety, emergency, and waste-management requirements.
Financial, Inventory, and Facilities Management
- Monitor revenue, expenses, productivity, billing, insurance coordination, collections, budgets, operational KPIs, and performance reporting.
- Monitor medical supplies, consumables, equipment, stock levels, expiry dates, wastage, storage, procurement, and maintenance.
- Ensure clinic premises and equipment are clean, safe, functional, maintained, and supported by effective service providers.
Quality and Administration
- Implement quality improvement and corrective and preventive actions while maintaining audit and inspection documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering staffing, patient volume, revenue, complaints, inventory, and other KPIs.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, IT, Marketing, Procurement, management, and external authorities and escalate significant issues.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Hospital Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare or medical center operations, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE healthcare operations and DOH Abu Dhabi requirements.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams and knowledge of clinic management systems, EMR, MS Office, and reporting tools.

- Patient and customer service orientation with professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Abu Dhabi medical center or clinic.
- Knowledge of DOH inspections, audits, licensing, and healthcare compliance.
- Experience with insurance or TPA coordination, business development, patient retention, or healthcare marketing.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous.
