About the Role
Noralta Technologies seeks a tech-savvy Client Support Analyst to provide Tier 2 support for SCADA and site security integration. You will troubleshoot remote connections, configure SCADA datapoints, and support field staff and customers in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities
- Establish, test, and troubleshoot remote connections to specialized field devices across cellular, radio, and satellite networks, using a variety of telemetry protocols
- Create and configure SCADA datapoints, such as pressures, temperatures, and flowrates from a broad variety of PLCs or RTUs, while ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Implement graphical user interfaces (HMIs) to convert data into information, providing operational awareness and control to clients and control room operators
- Commission and test completed projects alongside internal or external field services staff
- Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance to servers and services
- Investigate and troubleshoot internal and customer related issues
- Provide support to valued clients, 24/7 control room, and field services staff
- Track all work in a service management ticketing system
Requirements
- Ability to work an 8 hour shift within 7:00 am to 6:00 pm MST and participate in a 24/7 on call rotation
- Experience working in an operational or application support role at a Tier 2 level, supporting complex business and/or in house developed applications and technologies
- Customer oriented mindset and strong aptitude for delivering high quality service
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) for interacting with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Post secondary diploma or degree in IT, instrumentation, process control, or related field (nice to have)
- Proven experience with SCADA Host, PLCs, DCS, or HMI systems (especially ABB SCADAvantage) (nice to have)
- Familiarity with SQL, Windows Server, and/or C#.NET (nice to have)
- Work term or co op experience in the oil and gas industry (nice to have)
- Knowledge of upstream oilfield automation, compliance, and operations (nice to have)
- Experience with cellular, radio, and serial communications (nice to have)
- Experience utilizing service management ticketing systems (nice to have)

Compensation and Benefits
- CAD 33 CAD 43 per hour, based on experience, plus overtime.
- Comprehensive benefits plan including health and dental.
- 1 flex day per quarter.
- 3 weeks' vacation.

Additional Information
- Hours: 40 per week (Monday to Friday).
- Participation in an on call rotation required.
- Hybrid work environment.
