Role Description
The role combines interior design expertise with client liaison responsibilities.
The position manages client communication while supporting the development and execution of interior design projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand client preferences, requirements, budgets, and expectations.
- Develop design concepts, space plans, mood boards, material selections, furniture layouts, presentations, and drawings.
- Present concepts, gather feedback, coordinate revisions, and maintain project communication.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams on design details, materials, schedules, and requirements.
- Assist with site coordination, review progress, resolve design issues, and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure design quality and consistency while delivering positive client relationships.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in interior design, interior architecture, architecture, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, space planning, materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D visualization software, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, client relationship, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Understanding of design documentation, project coordination, and basic construction processes.
