Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Associate to support Broker Set Up and Corporate Action Fund Set Up activities within Middle Office Operations. The successful candidate will independently manage complex reference-data requests, support client onboarding and conversions, maintain strong risk and control standards, resolve operational issues, and contribute to process improvements supporting trade processing and corporate action servicing.

Why This Role Is Important to Us

The Broker & Corporate Action Fund Set Up team plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and complete reference data that supports global trade processing and corporate action servicing. The team manages broker onboarding, investment manager and fund setup, standing instructions, custodian mappings, and corporate action fund maintenance, enabling efficient transaction processing and accurate client servicing.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Process and review daily Broker Set Up and Corporate Action Fund Set Up requests within established service-level agreements and quality standards.

Manage assigned workflow, prioritize deliverables, monitor pending items, and escalate operational or client-impacting issues promptly.

Create, modify, and maintain broker records, matching groups, trade-processing attributes, translations, settlement instructions, and related reference data.

Complete investment manager, fund, custodian, and static-data setup activities supporting middle-office trade processing.

Perform corporate action fund setup, maintenance, closures, overrides, standing instructions, and fund-attribute updates within GCAS and related platforms.

Coordinate reference-data updates arising from client onboarding, conversions, fund launches, migrations, and operational changes.

Partner with Client Onboarding, Alpha Integration, Operations, Technology, and business teams to support new client implementations and conversion activities.

Perform quality reviews, investigate exceptions, complete root cause analysis, track remediation actions, and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Respond to stakeholder queries, provide timely status updates, and support reporting on volumes, productivity, quality, risks, and service delivery.

Identify and support automation, data-analysis, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, operational resilience, and client experience.

Provide process guidance, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job support to junior team members, and provide coverage for critical activities when required.

What We Value

Strong communication, stakeholder-management, and interpersonal skills.

Working knowledge of broker setup, reference data, corporate actions, middle-office operations, client onboarding, trade processing, or asset servicing.

Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.

Understanding of operational risk, controls, governance, and issue escalation.

Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver consistently within defined service-level agreements.

A collaborative, accountable, and proactive approach with a focus on accuracy, client service, and continuous improvement.

Education and Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of relevant financial-services experience.
  • Experience in Broker Set Up, Reference Data, Corporate Actions, Middle Office Operations, Client Onboarding, or Asset Servicing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data validation, operational reporting, reconciliation, trend analysis, and decision support; working knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
  • Exposure to Power Query, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, generative AI tools, or similar automation and data-transformation technologies is an advantage.
