Coordinate documentation reviews for international securities account openings.
Support new-business onboarding, account closings, amendments, conversions, and renewals in global markets.
The team is responsible for opening securities accounts for State Street clients.
Responsibilities
- Work with client service teams and local sub-custodian banks to facilitate account openings, closings, conversions, renewals, and amendments.
- Drive process improvements and enhance the client experience.
- Ensure adherence to operational controls, policies, and procedures.
- Identify process risks and recommend control enhancements for operational and regulatory risk mitigation.
- Develop, review, and maintain departmental standard operating procedures as regulations and business needs change.
- Maintain knowledge of global market account structures and regulatory requirements.
Experience and qualifications
- Five to six years of experience in global custody account opening, account maintenance, or related financial services operations.
- Strong understanding of custody and securities services operations.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards.
- Familiarity with account-opening systems and market documentation requirements.
- Strong knowledge of MCH applications.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
- Openness to working flexible shifts.

- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
