Role Overview
Recruiting a Client Accounting Supervisor for a Dubai-based client.
The role manages client portfolios, regulatory compliance, junior team mentoring, and accounting and tax advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts, accurate bookkeeping, and timely financial reporting.
- Review Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare and review VAT and Corporate Tax computations, filings, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, ESR, and UBO requirements.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and reconciliations for accuracy and quality.
- Provide accounting, taxation, and compliance guidance to clients.
- Supervise, mentor, and support junior accounting team members and review their work.
- Maintain client relationships as the primary accounting and tax contact.
- Prepare management reports and complete deliverables within agreed timelines.
- Identify process improvements to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- ACCA, CA, CPA, or CMA qualified or pursuing one of these qualifications.
- Previous experience in an accounting, audit, or professional services firm.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance.
- Experience managing client portfolios and reviewing financial records.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
