Role Overview
The Cleaner performs custodial duties under the supervision of a Custodial Manager or Supervisor.
Work must follow established company standards, instructions, and procedures.
The position is part time and assigned to the second shift.
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors and other interior surfaces.
- Operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments.
- Vacuum, spot-clean, and shampoo rugs in offices and public areas.
- Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and horizontal surfaces.
- Wash windowsills, interior doors, partitions, specified windows, entrance-door glass, and trim.
- Spot-clean interior walls as appropriate.
Restrooms and Waste
- Clean bathrooms, including glass, waste baskets, dispensers, tile walls, shelves, partitions, and floors.
- Restock paper supplies, soap, and toilet paper daily.
- Collect building trash and place it in approved containers and designated collection areas.
- Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers according to specifications.
- Monitor defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report them to supervisors.
