**Chubby Cheeks Nursery** is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic **FEMALE Cleaner** to support the branch in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
The Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, contributing to a healthy and positive learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning of classrooms, washrooms, corridors, offices, and common areas
- Clean and sanitize toys, learning materials, and play areas as required
- Ensure all areas meet health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Follow cleaning schedules and nursery policies and procedures
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management
- Support special cleaning requirements for events, inspections, or emergencies
- Work cooperatively with staff to ensure minimal disruption to nursery activities
Skills & Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
- Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Friendly attitude and willingness to support a childcare environment
- Ability to follow instructions and health & safety guidelines
