Role Overview
Varma Infra is seeking Civil Supervisors for day-to-day activities on residential and commercial building projects.
The role oversees construction site operations, project progress, quality, schedules, budgets, and workplace safety.
The candidate should preferably have good knowledge of finishing works.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and plans.
- Lead workers and subcontractors and provide guidance, training, and support.
- Enforce safety procedures, conduct inspections, and address hazards promptly.
- Monitor schedules and coordinate with project managers to meet milestones.
- Inspect work, resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee materials, equipment, procurement, delivery, and inventory use.
- Communicate with clients, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on work, materials, changes, and issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of construction supervision experience is required, particularly on high-rise residential and commercial projects.
