Civil Structural Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review temporary, scaffolding, platform, tower, stage, and event-related structures.
• Prepare structural, load, and stability calculations and technical reports.
• Review structural drawings and provide engineering solutions for site requirements.
• Perform wind load, live load, dead load, and stability calculations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, project managers, and site teams.
• Support installation, modification, and dismantling works with technical guidance.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE standards, codes, and project requirements.
• Inspect structures on site and provide technical recommendations.
• Prepare method statements, risk assessments, technical submissions, and engineering documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in scaffolding, temporary structures, events, steel structures, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design.
• Experience with scaffolding and temporary structure calculations is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and structural analysis or design software.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and support projects on short deadlines.
• Immediate or short-notice availability is an advantage.
