Civil Site Engineer

Role Overview

Site Supervision

• Supervise on-site construction and subcontractors, resolve daily site problems, and inspect work against plans and specifications.
• Lead, direct, and monitor site foremen and support staff.
• Provide construction supervision and quality assurance under contract documents.
• Advise contractors on construction procedures and correct safety violations.

Project Coordination

• Liaise with consultants and design teams to achieve required contract standards.
• Monitor progress, standards, reviews, and design changes and advise the Project Manager.
• Assist with project proposals, layouts, budget estimates, preliminary designs, detailed designs, and information gathering.
• Assist with detailed project drawings, subcontract administration, contractor coordination, and overall site control.

Technical and HSE Duties

• Administer excavation work permits by reviewing underground utility drawings, assessing feasibility, and providing approval.
• Provide engineering advice, oversee document control, and liaise with engineers in other sections.
• Prepare inspection and test plans and review contractor submissions and workshop or fabrication drawings.
• Inspect daily activities and report findings to the Project Manager.
• Prepare risk assessments and job safety analyses for site activities.
• Plan resources, track costs, compare planned and actual progress, and communicate with contractors and other sections.

Requirements

• Civil engineering background with five years of UAE experience.
• Ability to supervise construction, contractors, foremen, and support staff.
• Ability to prepare risk assessments and job safety analyses.
• Ability to prepare or review inspection and test plans and construction drawings.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.

Compensation

• Pay starts from AED 1.00 per month.
