Role overview
Oversee daily technical and operational activities on single-family or multi-family residential construction projects.
Ensure builds are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with engineering designs.
Maintain quality control, material management, and structural integrity from foundation excavation through final interior finishing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage trade subcontractors on residential construction sites.
- Conduct structural layouts and concrete and framing inspections.
- Resolve on-site technical discrepancies.
- Enforce safety protocols.
- Liaise with off-site architects, project managers, and local building code inspectors.
- Support quality control, material management, and structural integrity throughout construction.
Typical qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is typically held for this role.
- Hands-on residential site experience is typically held for this role.
