- Implement and maintain the project's Quality Management System (QMS)
- Review project specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals
- Conduct inspections of civil work to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and third party inspectors
- Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs)
- Monitor site activities to ensure quality standards are maintained during all phases of construction
- Identify non conforming works, raise Non Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, checklists, and turnover documentation
- Verify that all construction materials are approved before installation
- Coordinate material testing through approved laboratories and ensure compliance with required standards
- Maintain proper documentation of quality records, test reports, approvals, and inspection logs
- Support internal and external quality audits
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 8 years of QA/QC total experience in civil construction projects (min. 3 years in UAE)
- Experience working with main contractors on high rise, residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed use development
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, quality control procedures, and inspection processes
- Experience with ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, IRs, NCRs, RFIs, and material approval
- Knowledge of local authority requirements and international construction standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems

Job Summary
- The Civil QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all civil construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality standards.
- The role involves monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, preparing quality documentation, and coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Key Skills

Experience
- 5–8+ years in QA/QC in civil construction industry.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Knowledge of Codes / Standards: Local and international standards: ASTM, ACI, BS, ISO, local building codes, safety standards.
Technical Skills
- Material testing, concrete & structural inspection, reading & interpreting drawings & specs, method statements, ITPs.
