Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards
- Review drawings and method statements
- Prepare and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs)
- Conduct site inspections and document quality records and non conformances
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending corrective actions
- Support internal and external audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- 1–2 years of relevant QA/QC experience in civil and/or MEP works, preferably within turnkey, fit out, or interior projects in the GCC
- Knowledge of civil engineering construction practices, including structural, architectural, and finishing works
- Understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) and their integration with civil works
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Basic skills in MS Office and common project documentation tools
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Civil & MEP QA/QC Engineer role based in Dubai. The Civil & MEP QA/QC Engineer will monitor and inspect civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and quality standards.
Day to day Responsibilities
- Reviewing drawings and method statements
- Preparing and implementing inspection and test plans (ITPs)
- Conducting site inspections
- Documenting quality records and non conformances
- Coordinating with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues
- Contributing to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, recommending corrective actions
- Supporting internal and external audits
Qualifications
- Knowledge of civil engineering construction practices, including structural, architectural, and finishing works, with hands on QA/QC experience on building or interior projects.
- Understanding of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) and their integration with civil works, with exposure to QA/QC procedures for MEP installations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and technical documents; basic skills in MS Office and common project documentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; additional certification in QA/QC, inspection, or ISO based quality management is an advantage.
- 1–2 years of relevant QA/QC experience in civil and/or MEP works, preferably within turnkey, fit out, or interior projects in the GCC.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and reporting skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on site.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and adapt to a fast paced project environment.
