Role Overview
Parsons is hiring a Civil Inspector for infrastructure construction activities in Dubai, UAE.
The role performs continuous inspection and surveillance to verify compliance with codes, standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct civil and structural tests covering soil, aggregate, concrete, surveys, bolt torques, and coring.
- Inspect underground piping, piling installation, piping systems, electrical installations, painting, and insulation.
- Inspect construction labor and subcontracted tasks for professional workmanship.
- Verify equipment alignment and balancing operations.
- Contribute to quality control reports, procedures, job safety practices, and safety reports.
- Administer welder qualification tests when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related civil engineering discipline, preferably with an equivalency.
- At least 5 years of infrastructure construction supervision experience, including roads, highways, pump stations, and utilities.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and construction specifications and familiarity with construction processes.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
