Role overview
Civil Inspector role focused on roads and infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE.
The inspector performs continuous surveillance of assigned inspection activities for compliance with applicable codes, standards, drawings, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction and maintenance of roads, curbs, gutters, streets, sidewalks, and landscaping.
- Inspect drainage, utilities, traffic control, and lighting works.
- Inspect electrical equipment for traffic signals, ramp metering, and street lighting.
- Inspect irrigation, planting, roadway signs, overhead signs, and delineation.
- Inspect building, facility construction, and associated site development.
- Take and file project photographs daily.
Required qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- At least three years of experience supervising infrastructure construction projects, including roads and utilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and civil inspection processes.
- Strong analytical capabilities and ability to work independently.
Work location
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE and involves construction-site inspection activities.
