Job Description
Join the construction team as a Civil Estimation Engineer supporting civil and building projects.
The role focuses on accurate cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, and commercial requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender pricing.
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and coordinate with procurement, quantity surveying, and project teams.
- Identify materials, manpower, equipment, variations, exclusions, discrepancies, and cost risks.
- Maintain pricing lists and cost databases and support negotiations, clarifications, variations, cost control, and budget monitoring.
- Conduct site visits when required and complete accurate tender submissions within required deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in civil estimation or tendering.
- UAE construction experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
