Civil Engineering - Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager Department: Civil Engineering Reports to: Managing Director/Director FLSA Status: Exempt

GENERAL SUMMARY The Civil Engineering Project Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, coordinating, and executing multiple civil engineering projects from inception through completion.

Reporting to a Managing Director or Director, this role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage teams.

The Project Manager monitors project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and overall performance to ensure successful, profitable project delivery.

This position requires a high level of self-motivation, problem solving ability, and the application of broad engineering knowledge across diverse civil engineering assignments.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position may include direct supervision of engineers, designers, technicians, and support personnel.

• Manages multiple civil engineering projects concurrently, ensuring on time and on budget delivery.
• Monitors project performance, including progress tracking, milestone completion, invoicing, and financial health.
• Independently makes decisions on engineering matters within area of technical expertise.
