The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Manager to lead civil engineering operations, project execution, and technical excellence across the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will oversee engineering design, construction coordination, project delivery, regulatory compliance, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement civil engineering strategies, technical standards, engineering governance frameworks, and project delivery roadmaps.
  • Lead the planning, design, execution, and delivery of civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP, Construction, Project Management, Procurement, HSE, QA, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee engineering design reviews, feasibility studies, site investigations, cost estimates, value engineering, constructability reviews, and technical risk assessments.
  • Manage project schedules, engineering resources, budgets, contractor performance, procurement activities, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, municipal regulations, environmental requirements, engineering standards, HSE regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor KPIs including project progress, budget performance, schedule adherence, engineering quality, safety performance, resource utilization, client satisfaction, and risk mitigation.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, calculations, contracts, RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through BIM, digital engineering, GIS, AI powered project analytics, automation, and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, government authorities, utility providers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Utilize BIM platforms, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and engineering project management software.
  • Prepare engineering reports, project dashboards, feasibility studies, technical presentations, budget analyses, and strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or professional certifications such as PMP, PE, CEng, LEED, Primavera P6, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure development, construction management, or related engineering roles.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing civil engineering teams, engineering projects, or infrastructure programs preferred.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, structural and geotechnical concepts, infrastructure design, construction management, project planning, contract administration, quality management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, BIM platforms, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and engineering design and project management software.
  • Familiarity with GIS, digital twins, AI powered engineering analytics, sustainable infrastructure, smart city technologies, and modern construction methodologies is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, budgeting, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects while balancing safety, quality, schedules, budgets, regulatory compliance, client expectations, and business objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in remote and hybrid environments for planning and administrative responsibilities, with flexibility to travel to project sites, client meetings, and construction locations as required.
