TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Civil/Geotechnical Engineering Interns out of our Madison, WI office for our Summer 2027 intern program.

This is a paid full-time position.

Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2027 (flexible).

This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

• Perform engineering calculations to support designs including geotechnical, stormwater, and general civil aspects.
• Perform field investigations and construction oversight for environmental compliance, geotechnical, and land development projects.
• Support design of stormwater management systems, layout renewable energy systems, and solid waste management systems.
• Perform various project tasks including evaluating regulatory requirements, developing quantity take-offs, cost estimates, research, subcontractor procurement support, etc.
