  • Experience the day-to-day operations of a civil engineering and site design firm
  • Learn the stages of the land development and site design process
  • Enhance your technical skills with hands-on experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D to design: Concept plans Grading plans Stormwater management plans Utility system plans Soil erosion and sediment control plans

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate and drive projects forward
  • Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions
  • Visit sites to observe field conditions and see the engineering process in action
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to design and process improvements
  • A supportive and collaborative environment focused on learning and professional growth
  • Exposure to a variety of land development and site design projects
  • Mentorship and hands-on training from experienced engineers and project leaders
  • Opportunities to explore the civil engineering profession and gain insight into real client work
  • Networking opportunities through office events, community engagement, and team-building activities
  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving
