Position Overview
Civil Engineering Intern role providing practical exposure to construction, project coordination, estimation, and project management.
Training covers the project lifecycle from planning and estimation through execution, quality control, documentation, and handover.

Key Learning and Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, coordinating, and monitoring construction projects.
- Gain exposure to site execution, construction methods, and project coordination.
- Assist with BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimates.
- Track project progress, work schedules, and site activities.
- Monitor construction quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Read architectural, structural, MEP, and construction drawings.
- Assist with site measurements, inspections, and measurement records.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, checklists, and site documentation.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders under supervision.
- Support material planning, procurement coordination, contractor management, and work sequencing.
- Record site issues and follow up on corrective actions.
- Participate in project review meetings and learn project management procedures.
Training and Development
- Training covers construction and site management, estimation and quantity surveying, and project planning.
- Training includes cost control, quality control, documentation, procurement coordination, and contractor coordination.
- Training also covers project monitoring and professional communication.
- The program develops technical and managerial capabilities for project management environments.
Candidate Profile
- Civil engineering student or recent graduate.
- Strong interest in construction and project management.
- Willingness to learn from experienced professionals and work in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of civil engineering and construction principles.
- Technical drawing interpretation is preferred.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- MS Office or Excel proficiency is preferred.
- Willingness to undertake site visits and gain hands-on project experience.
- Proactive attitude with attention to detail and responsibility.
