Civil Engineer (Site Engineer)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise structural, finishing, and PEB-related civil works on site.
• Read architectural, structural, and PEB drawings and ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors for smooth project execution.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor work progress, timelines, and quality standards.
• Implement construction methods, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
• Maintain reports and logs covering materials, manpower, and work progress.
• Assist with quantity estimation, material reconciliation, and procurement planning.
• Report site issues, delays, and discrepancies to the project manager or senior engineer.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety norms, and statutory regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of site experience in civil construction and PEB structures.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering practices, construction techniques, and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drawings and civil design documents.
• Ability to manage contractors and site labor and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with site documentation, reporting, and MS Office tools.

Preferred Experience

• Prior involvement in industrial, defence, or large infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety regulations is preferred.

Work Environment

• This is an on-site role at an under-construction project.
• The role requires physical presence at the site and readiness to handle on-ground challenges.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹50,000–₹70,000 per month.

• The job is full-time.
