Internship overview
The internship supports site engineers with construction activities, project coordination, estimation, billing, quality control, and documentation.
The role is intended for final-year civil engineering students, freshers, or recent graduates.
Responsibilities
- Assist site engineers with daily construction activities and supervise work progress.
- Interpret architectural and structural drawings and conduct site measurements.
- Monitor construction material quality, workmanship, safety standards, and company procedures.
- Assist with quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, billing, project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain measurement, inventory, and material consumption records.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, labour teams, and clients during site visits.
Eligibility
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering; final-year students, freshers, or recent graduates are eligible.
- Basic understanding of construction methods and engineering principles.
- Willingness to work on construction sites and travel to project sites across the Tricity region and nearby locations.
- A two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Good communication and coordination skills, punctuality, discipline, and commitment to learning.
