This position will be involved with significant projects, interact with clients and government agencies and effectively working with a team.

Your Key Responsibilities - Supports project team in development of design documentation, plans, and reports for relevant project design elements. - Prepares and revises documentation required for land development permitting through local, state and federal jurisdictions. - Performs quality reviews for documents in various project phases including construction plans, reviewing agency submittal packages, and engineering calculation reports. - Assist in preparing engineering calculation reports including but not limited to: stormwater design, potable water design, sanitary sewer design, and roadway design. - Attends project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants. - Takes sufficient notes at all meetings in order to organize efforts and follow through with requested deliverables - Coordinates and keeps consistent communication with other disciplines to ensure entire design team has same design intent and is on schedule - Prepares and coordinates submittals to permitting entities - Assists in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other construction administration tasks. - Assists in the evaluation and selection of civil systems and materials. - Participates in value engineering and basic cost estimating. - Performs calculations to analyze and design civil system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software. - Ready to step in and assist with any of design teams tasks in order to complete project on time and with quality design. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Self-starter with diligent work ethic and strong attention to detail - Effective communication skills and ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought - Ability to visualize three-dimensional concepts and layouts from diagrams or drawings - Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and proficient with relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, WaterCAD, StormWise (ICPR4), etc. Education and Experience - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering. - 2+ years of relevant design experience preferred. - Engineer Intern (EIT) License is required.
