Civil Engineer for Solar Project

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with civil designs and layouts for foundations, module mounting structures, inverter rooms, control buildings, roads, cable trenches, and other civil works.
• Supervise daily civil construction activities and coordinate contractors and site teams for timely execution.
• Conduct site inspections and support surveying, leveling, and layout marking.
• Monitor materials, manpower, resources, utilization, availability, and site housekeeping.
• Maintain progress reports, drawings, test reports, inspection records, and other project documentation.
• Conduct quality checks and coordinate testing of concrete, soil, reinforcement steel, and other civil materials.
• Coordinate vendors and suppliers for required material procurement and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment requirements and approved construction procedures.
• Assist with quantity estimation, material planning, cost tracking, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, quality, and other project teams.

Qualifications

• B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
