About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all civil construction activities across multiple projects
- Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements
- Coordinate and oversee construction activities from project initiation through completion and handover
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documentation
- Ensure adherence to construction schedules, budgets, quality standards, and project milestones
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is executed according to approved plans and industry standards
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications
- Identify project risks, propose mitigation measures, and resolve technical and construction related issues
- Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, Dubai Municipality requirements, and HSE standards
- Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
- Prepare progress reports, technical reports, project updates, and cost estimates for management review
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction projects within the UAE
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, mixed use, or infrastructure construction projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, structural works, concrete works, finishing works, and project execution
- Familiarity with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and HSE requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong project management, planning, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management qualification preferred
- Membership in a recognized engineering association preferred
- Experience managing large scale construction developments within the UAE preferred
