Role overview
Civil Engineer position for an NBCC government project in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
The role supervises construction activities, ensures quality, and coordinates with site teams.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, site teams, the Project Manager, and other departments.
- Monitor quality, quantity, and work progress.
- Check measurements and assist with quantity estimates.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in civil construction.
- Good knowledge of construction practices, drawings, measurements, and site execution.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.
- Knowledge of Telugu is preferred.
- Experience in government, NBCC, or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
