NASEC is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for engineering consultancy and construction-related project work in Dubai, UAE.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, project coordination capability, and practical experience in civil design, site supervision, and stakeholder coordination.
About NASEC
Nad Alshiba Engineering Consultants LLC is a Dubai-based multidisciplinary consultancy providing architecture, engineering consultancy, project management, and construction supervision services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and monitor civil engineering works for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and project requirements.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, technical submissions, RFIs, technical queries, inspection requests, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP engineers, contractors, consultants, clients, and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor construction progress and quality, and track contractor performance.
- Identify technical issues, delays, risks, and construction concerns and coordinate timely resolution.
- Ensure civil works comply with approved designs, specifications, UAE standards, and Dubai authority requirements.
- Provide technical support, prepare and review reports, and ensure documentation and close-out of civil works.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10–12 years of professional experience in the UAE.
- Strong experience with an engineering consultant, supervision consultant, or construction company in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards, specifications, and authority requirements.
- Strong site supervision, project coordination, quality control, and inspection experience.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills and the ability to work with contractors, consultants, clients, and project teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Dubai projects and local authority requirements is preferred.
- A UAE driving license is advantageous.
