This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Sharjah.

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil infrastructure projects, including site layouts, roads, utilities, and stormwater systems.

Daily activities include preparing engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports, as well as coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client requirements.

The role involves participating in project planning, conducting site visits, supporting construction supervision, and resolving technical issues that arise during design and implementation.

The Civil Engineer will also contribute to improving design processes and promoting sustainable, resilient engineering solutions aligned with REC’s philosophy.

• Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design skills, with a solid understanding of structural, geotechnical, and infrastructure principles.
• Experience working as a civil engineer on multidisciplinary projects, including coordination with architects, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Planning skills for civil works, including project scheduling, resource coordination, and design documentation.
• Stormwater Management skills, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and compliance with local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, drainage modeling tools) and strong technical reporting skills.
• Knowledge of local and international engineering codes and standards, with attention to safety and sustainability.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively on-site in Riyadh.
