Job Summary

Job Responsibilities 1

• Develop and review civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading plans, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to determine the strength, stability, and integrity of building structures and infrastructure components.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing conditions, identify constraints, and propose design solutions.
• Recommend appropriate construction materials, methods, and techniques based on project specifications, budget constraints, and environmental considerations.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and construction teams to integrate civil engineering designs with overall project plans.
• Assist in obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory clearances from local authorities and governing agencies.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and industry best practices.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and address potential delays or cost overruns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the design and construction process.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of structural principles and analysis methods to design safe and efficient structures.
• Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed engineering drawings and plans.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to design challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role
