Job Description
Oversee the design, planning, and execution of road networks, traffic management systems, and transportation infrastructure for a luxury hospitality, residential, and infrastructure development.
Ensure road and traffic systems are integrated while meeting safety, regulatory, sustainability, and aesthetic standards.
Road and Traffic Engineering Oversight
- Lead the design and implementation of roads, intersections, traffic control systems, and parking solutions.
- Optimize road alignments, pavement structures, and grading for project functionality and aesthetics.
- Oversee intelligent transportation systems, signalized intersections, pedestrian mobility, EV charging, and multimodal transport solutions.
Project Execution and Coordination
- Manage road construction activities in accordance with schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, urban planners, landscape architects, contractors, clients, and government agencies.
- Ensure drainage, signage, road marking, and lighting infrastructure support safe and efficient traffic flow.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Compliance and Quality
- Ensure adherence to AASHTO, FHWA, local DOT, and other applicable traffic and highway design standards.
- Obtain required approvals from local authorities and permitting agencies.
- Identify and mitigate congestion risks, road safety hazards, and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Conduct quality control, site inspections, audits, and performance assessments.
Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and mentor traffic engineers, road design consultants, and contractors.
- Represent the project in progress meetings, regulatory discussions, and stakeholder engagements.
- Collaborate with government agencies, clients, and consultants on road network integration.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 20 years of experience in road and traffic engineering focused on infrastructure projects.
- Experience with luxury hospitality, residential, and large-scale urban development projects.
- Knowledge of highway design software such as Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads, SYNCHRO, VISSIM, or similar.
- Experience with traffic impact studies, smart mobility solutions, and integrated transport systems.
