Role Overview
The Civil Design Engineer owns drawings and documentation from site data through construction-ready and as-built sets.
The role requires a B.E. in Civil Engineering and two to three years of civil design or drafting experience.
Design and Documentation
- Produce design and construction documentation as required.
- Prepare civil 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models.
- Prepare detailed abstract estimates and bills of quantities.
- Deliver working engineering drawings from schematic design through construction documentation.
- Prepare as-built drawings and hand over documentation to the Project Manager for client approval.
- Establish and maintain structured, standardized AutoCAD drawings.
Site and Drawing Coordination
- Visit project sites for supervision and surveys and collect data and measurements for working drawings.
