Citrix Engineer III

Qualifications

• Overall 7+ years of experience managing Citrix VDI and published apps environments (On-prem, Cloud, Hybrid)
• 5+ years working as a Citrix Engineer in a large enterprise environment with more than 4,000 users
• At least 5 years of experience with Citrix Cloud platform
• At least 5 years of experience with both Citrix PVS and MCS
• At least 3 years of experience working with and troubleshooting Citrix FAS
• At least 3 years of experience managing images with App Layering Manager (ELM)
• Strong understanding and experience with both published applications and VDI in multiple AD domains
• Experience with Windows PowerShell for troubleshooting, configuration and automation
• Experience with Citrix Gateway Service and managing Adaptive Authentication a plus!
• In depth knowledge of Citrix Profile Management, FSLogix
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the Citrix infrastructure and its dependencies (network, storage, etc.)
• Experience developing effective, proactive monitoring and alerting to assure system uptime
• Experience managing Citrix in DR configurations
• Understanding of web applications and troubleshooting
• Understanding of networking topology and protocols
• Experience with data center hosting environments and connectivity
• Clear and concise communications both written and verbal are critical in this role
• University degree in computer science or technical field preferred.
• Experience supporting in the healthcare industry is a plus
• Bonus points if you have a strong “generalist” background and have experience wearing many hats in an IT organization!
