Role Overview
The Cinema Manager will oversee commercial, operational, customer experience, staffing, and technical performance across cinema operations.
The role is fully remote and described as full-time, with responsibility for operational standards, customer service, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
Cinema Operations
- Develop operating strategies and manage box office, ticketing, ushering, concessions, theatres, customer service, and front-of-house activities.
- Coordinate sessions, screenings, film schedules, programming requirements, theatre utilization, and operational readiness.
- Manage ticketing, seating, pricing, promotions, memberships, loyalty programs, refunds, and customer transactions.
- Manage concession inventory, quality, pricing, sales, margins, wastage, and service standards.
Facilities and Technical Operations
- Maintain cleanliness across auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, concession areas, and customer spaces.
- Coordinate opening, closing, cleaning, inspection, and daily readiness procedures.
- Ensure projection, sound, lighting, screens, seating, HVAC, digital signage, and other cinema systems operate reliably.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and manage technical incidents and restoration activities.
