Mission/Core of Purpose of the Job

Core, Essential Responsibilities

  • Support the expansion of the company’s market presence within the construction and engineering sectors.
  • Assist in quotation, proposal preparation, and negotiation activities for new opportunities.
  • Identify and maintain a list of current and upcoming construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Track sales activities, leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Deliver company overview and introductory sales presentations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Support lead generation activities using various communication and networking channels.
  • Coordinate meetings and follow up activities with prospects and clients.
  • Promote the company’s solutions and services to targeted accounts.
  • Support account management activities for existing clients and partners.
  • Assist in preparing techno commercial proposals and bid submissions.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 years experience as a Business Developer/Sales in an Engineering or contracting company.
  • Current or previous work experience in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and/or Dubai (UAE) is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Chinese companies, contractors, consultants, or developers is an advantage.

Competencies

  • Marketing, Business Development, Client Management, Sales process, Customer needs, Sales opportunities.
  • Terminology, standards, and practices of software applications: BIM tools.
  • Fluency in English. Another language is an asset.
  • Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Power BI and an above average utilization of Excel and CRM (Dynamics) software.
  • Construction industry and software sales.
  • Construction methods, terminologies, processes, and systems.
  • Plans, specifications, and the various possibilities of BIM modelling.
