Role overview
Join WAHA AIR’s HVAC team in Dubai as a senior Chiller Installation and Service Technician.
Independently manage HVAC projects from installation and commissioning through diagnostics, repair, and final handover.
Chiller systems
- Install, test, commission, start up, service, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
- Operate and program chiller control panels, HMI interfaces, PLC-based controls, and BMS integrations.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control-related faults.
- Perform compressor, fan, valve, sensor, motor, and electrical component replacement.
- Inspect and clean heat exchangers, tubes, condenser coils, and cooling towers where applicable.
- Perform refrigerant recovery, leak detection, evacuation, charging, and replacement.
- Perform water flushing, chemical cleaning, chilled water balancing, and pump troubleshooting.
- Calibrate sensors and safety devices and test protection controls.
- Conduct performance optimization, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs.
- Prepare service reports, technical documentation, and root cause analyses.
Required experience
- Five to ten years of proven experience in VRF and chiller systems.
