Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and repair water cooled and air cooled chillers, including associated pumps, piping, and controls
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on chiller systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and complete timely repairs to minimize downtime
- Conduct system inspections and record operational parameters
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Support after hours or emergency call outs as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in chiller operation and maintenance in commercial or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical equipment such as compressors, pumps, valves, and heat exchangers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals
- Familiarity with control systems, sensors, and basic electrical troubleshooting related to chillers and HVAC equipment
- Understanding of safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and relevant industry and environmental regulations
- Good problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team on site
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, colleagues, and clients
- Vocational training, technical diploma, or equivalent certification in HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering
- Previous experience in the UAE or GCC and a valid UAE driving license are preferred
- Willingness to work on site in Abu Dhabi, including occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency call outs

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Chiller Technician role based in Dubai.
- The Chiller Technician will operate, maintain, and repair water cooled and air cooled chillers, including associated pumps, piping, and controls.
