Start Corporation's Start with HEART program is looking for a compassionate, patient Childcare Associate to provide supervision, activities and fun to youth during weekly Start with HEART groups in the Covington , Mandeville and New Orleans locations.

• 2 years experience in early childhood or school-aged care

• Effectively demonstrate the understanding and practice of developmentally appropriate childcare.
• Communicate respectfully and effectively and establish professional relationships.
• Promotes recovery, independence, and personal choice for participants.
• Accurately identifies risk and responds appropriately.
• Demonstrates knowledge of behavioral health symptoms, interventions, and impact.
• Maintains professional boundaries and operates within agency /ethical guidelines.
