Paulista Transportes is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Transport Officer to oversee and optimize all transportation operations.
The ideal candidate will lead logistics planning, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency across fleet management and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement transportation strategies aligned with company goals
- Oversee daily transport operations, including fleet scheduling and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations
- Manage budgets, cost control, and performance metrics
- Lead and mentor transport and logistics teams
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline supply chain operations
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior transport or logistics leadership role
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
