Overview
We are seeking an experienced Chief Transactions Officer (CTO) to lead the organization’s strategic deal agenda, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, partnerships, restructurings, and other complex transactions.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in transaction execution, commercial strategy, and executive-level decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Set and execute the overall transactions strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic deal opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and deal structuring.
- Coordinate with legal, finance, tax, operations, and external advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Negotiate key commercial terms and support executive leadership in final decision-making.
- Prepare board papers, investment memos, and executive presentations.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and inorganic growth opportunities.
- Support post-transaction integration and value creation planning.
- Ensure governance, regulatory, and internal approval requirements are met.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or strategic finance.
- Proven track record of leading complex, high-value transactions from origination through close.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal-structuring skills.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to operate at executive level and influence senior decision-makers.
- Strong understanding of transaction governance, risk management, and integration planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Pay: QAR120.00 - QAR250.00 per hour
