GALLIUM EUROPE is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Security Architect.
The role leads enterprise security architecture to protect critical systems, applications, infrastructure, and data.
The position shapes security strategy and architecture across secure, resilient, and scalable IT environments.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the enterprise security architecture strategy.
- Design secure architectures across cloud, network, application, infrastructure, and data environments.
- Establish security principles, standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews.
- Identify security risks and recommend technical and strategic controls.
- Embed security across the technology lifecycle with engineering, infrastructure, cloud, application, and business teams.
- Lead Zero Trust, identity and access management, encryption, and secure-by-design adoption.
- Evaluate cybersecurity technologies and support incident response, vulnerability management, and business continuity.
- Align security architecture with regulatory, compliance, and industry requirements.
- Communicate security recommendations to executive leadership and mentor security teams.
What we are looking for
- Extensive cybersecurity, information security, or security architecture experience.
- Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise security architectures.
- Strong knowledge of cloud, network, application, identity, and data security.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, threat modeling, risk management, and secure architecture.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to translate complex security concepts into practical business solutions.
- Experience with executive leadership and cross-functional technology teams.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in senior cybersecurity or security architecture roles.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CCSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Experience with major cloud platforms and enterprise security technologies.
