Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient delivery of cybersecurity consultancy, research, and educational initiatives.

This part-time, hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility.

The COO will manage budgeting and resource allocation, monitor performance metrics, and coordinate cross-functional teams to maintain service quality and operational excellence.

The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on partnerships, conference initiatives, and reports that advance African Cyber Security’s mission.

• Strong Business Planning and strategic thinking skills to guide organizational growth and long-term initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in Operations Management, including process optimization and cross-functional coordination.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess performance, and support evidence-based decision-making.
• Knowledge of Finance and Budgeting to manage operational costs, allocate resources, and support sustainable growth.
• Background in cybersecurity, technology, or related fields is highly beneficial.
• Proven leadership experience in senior management or C-level roles, preferably in consultancy or professional services.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills across diverse teams and cultures.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site responsibilities in Abu Dhabi and remote work.
• Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or a related discipline; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
