Smart Bricks is building an AI-native platform for sourcing opportunities, underwriting investments, performing due diligence, and managing real estate portfolios.
The company also operates an Applied AI Lab that redesigns complex workflows with major real estate organizations.
Smart Bricks has raised more than $5 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz, and is backed by Techstars, Google, NVIDIA, and Microsoft programs.
The Dubai team is based at DIFC, alongside founders, investors, and technology companies in the GCC startup ecosystem.
Company Strategy and Execution
- Design the operating model so the company becomes faster rather than slower as it grows.
- Own annual and quarterly planning, company OKRs, executive operating cadence, leadership reviews, business performance reporting, and cross-functional planning.
- Build decision-making frameworks that create clarity, remove friction, and increase execution.
Executive Partnership
- Act as the Founder's closest operating partner and ensure time is focused on the highest-impact work.
- Prepare for board meetings, investor updates, fundraising, executive hiring, leadership reviews, enterprise customer meetings, and strategic partnerships.
- Represent the Founder internally and occasionally externally.
Strategic Initiatives
- Lead high-priority initiatives across international expansion, the Applied AI Lab, enterprise deployments, product launches, executive hiring, organizational redesign, partnerships, AI transformation, and fundraising readiness.
- Partner with executive leaders to strengthen planning, prioritization, accountability, communication, hiring, and organizational design.
- Align Product, Engineering, Applied AI, Commercial, and Operations as one company.
Success Measures
- Build an operating cadence with planning, OKRs, and business reviews running effectively.
- Make the Founder measurably more effective and shift time toward strategy, customers, and fundraising.
- Deliver multiple company-wide strategic initiatives from end to end.
- Build recruiting and onboarding processes for senior leaders.
- Establish visible company goals and an accountability framework.
- Create operational discipline without creating bureaucracy.
Who We Are Looking For
- 7 to 12 years across Chief of Staff, Founder's Office, Business Operations, Strategy and Operations, General Management, strategy consulting, investment banking, VC/PE, or founder or startup operator roles.
- Experience in a fast-scaling venture-backed startup or scaleup during rapid growth.
- Direct experience working with founders or CEOs on high-leverage problems.
- Experience building planning cycles, OKRs, board papers, and investor updates from first principles.
- Experience leading company-wide initiatives and recruiting senior leadership.
- Strong commercial and analytical judgment, including P&L analysis, model review, and decision-making with imperfect information.
- A degree from a strong institution, ideally with top academic and professional performance.
- AI, enterprise software, or real estate experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
