The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) reports to the CEO and is responsible for defining and executing the company’s global marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, demand generation, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic leadership: Develop and own the multi-year marketing strategy aligned with company goals, market positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Brand & positioning: Build and protect the brand—define value proposition, messaging, brand guidelines, and corporate identity across channels.
- Demand generation: Lead demand-gen across paid, organic, partnerships, events, content, and ABM to drive qualified pipeline and new customers.
- Product marketing: Oversee product positioning, pricing strategy, go-to-market launches, competitive analysis, and sales enablement materials.
- Growth & performance marketing: Optimize customer acquisition funnels (SEO, SEM, social, email, display), conversion rates, and LTV:CAC metrics.
- Content & communications: Own content strategy, thought leadership, PR, analyst relations, and internal/external communications.
- Customer lifecycle & retention: Design programs for onboarding, upsell, cross-sell, advocacy, and churn reduction.
- Data & analytics: Establish marketing KPIs, dashboards, attribution models, and rigorous testing to improve ROI and decision-making.
- Sales alignment: Collaborate with Sales on lead qualification, pipeline handoffs, account-based marketing, and revenue targets.
- Team building: Recruit, mentor, and scale high-performing marketing teams (brand, demand, product marketing, creative, growth, communications).
- Budget & vendor management: Set marketing budgets, allocate spend across channels, manage agencies and vendor relationships.
- Compliance & reputation: Ensure marketing practices comply with legal and regulatory standards; protect corporate reputation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in marketing with 5+ years in senior leadership (VP/Head of Marketing) or equivalent; proven track record driving revenue growth.
- Industry: Relevant experience preferred (e.g., SaaS, consumer, fintech, healthcare) depending on company.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Skills:
- Strategic vision with strong executional focus.
- Expertise in brand strategy, demand generation, and product marketing.
- Data-driven decision-making and familiarity with marketing analytics and attribution.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tech stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, ad platforms).

Working Conditions & Compensation
- Full-time executive role; may require travel and flexible hours.
- Compensation: competitive base salary + performance-based bonus/equity — specifics depend on company size and location.

Pay: AED467.61 - AED1,321.64 per hour
