Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Yat Haber Türkiye is a part-time, remote leadership role responsible for defining and executing the overall marketing strategy.

On a day-to-day basis, the CMO will develop and refine marketing plans, oversee brand positioning, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

The role includes coordinating market research activities, analyzing audience data, and identifying growth opportunities in existing and new markets.

The CMO will work closely with senior leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals, support sales efforts, and manage public relations and external communications.

This position also involves guiding digital campaigns, optimizing the marketing budget, and mentoring team members to drive measurable results.

• Strong skills and experience in Market Planning and Marketing Management to design and lead effective marketing strategies.
• Demonstrated ability in Market Research to gather, interpret, and apply insights for decision-making and growth.
• Proficiency in Public Relations to manage media relationships, brand reputation, and external communications.
• Experience collaborating with or overseeing Sales functions to align marketing initiatives with revenue targets.
• Proven track record in senior marketing leadership, ideally as a CMO or similar executive role.
• Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively in a part-time capacity, and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and decision-making capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Turkish is highly beneficial.
• Experience in digital media, news, or information services sectors is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
