Responsibilities
- Design and implement the firm's equity investment philosophy, aligning financial strategy with the organization's mission
- Develop and refine equity investment strategies, performing deep fundamental and macro research
- Construct and oversee concentrated or thematic equity portfolios, monitoring risk, performance, and exposure
- Evaluate potential investments in public and private equity, prepare investment memos, and present recommendations
- Establish investment processes, reporting frameworks, and governance standards
- Collaborate with advisors, legal and compliance partners, and external managers
- Communicate portfolio performance and strategy to key stakeholders periodically
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Investments and Investment Management with a track record of managing equity focused portfolios or mandates
- Proven ability to design and implement Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management approaches tailored to long term, mission aligned objectives
- Advanced knowledge of Finance, including valuation, capital markets, risk management, and financial modeling
- Experience with public and/or private equity, including security selection, due diligence, and ongoing monitoring
- Strategic mindset with ability to balance return, risk, liquidity, and impact over long horizons
- Comfort operating in an early stage or entrepreneurial environment, including building processes from the ground up
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
