Role Description
Lead all information security and cybersecurity activities in a part-time, remote capacity.
Provide strategic leadership for information security strategy, governance, risk, incident response, and organizational resilience.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain information security strategy, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Align security activities with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee risk assessments, security audits, and incident response processes.
- Coordinate application security reviews and guide security controls across systems and platforms.
- Manage business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Report on emerging threats and security posture to senior leadership.
- Mentor teams and promote security awareness.
- Integrate security into technology and business decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in information security and information security management.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, incident response, and security operations.
- Hands-on application security experience with secure development, vulnerability assessment, and remediation guidance.
